What you will be doing

You will be responsible for increasing product quality of our Comestri platform by identifying areas as well as different methods to expand test coverage and improve the overall software quality for the end-users that include Customers, Partners and Colleagues.

  • Review requirements, specifications and create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases.
  • Perform testing for day to day allocated tasks and advise the system readiness for every production release
  • Identify and raise risks as early as possible in the system development life cycle
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, both using exploratory and automated test cases.
  • Partner closely with dev/product team to ensure user stories are tested and ready to be released.

An idea of the type of skills we are looking for

  • Commercial experience in a QA/Testing role.
  • Functional testing experience a must
  • A desire to learn and improve testing skills.
  • API experience using Postman.
  • Knowledge of any Test Management tool: QC, JIRA, Zephyr.
  • Experience in Test planning and analysis, E2E Testing, UI/Functional, Exploratory, and API Testing.
  • Understanding of structured quality assurance approaches and techniques.
  • Understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies including Agile.
  • Must have experience in case creation, execution, and defect tracking activities
  • Ability to grasp requirement/spec without detail documented stories and then drive quality
  • Passion and experience at delivering great software in a test-driven environment
  • Familiar with JSON and XML

Nice to have

  • Automation testing using any tool like Cypress, Selenium, Webdriver, Cucumber with scripting language java or Javascript
  • Commercial experience of testing React application, or webportal
  • Experience in Data validation / Data Migration Testing
  • Knowledgeable in retail and eCommerce
  • Knowledge of Performance testing using JMeter.
  • Exposure to AWS services
