Comestri 2020 Wrap Up

A review from Co-founders, Frank Nesci & Greg Woollett

2020 has been an extraordinary year for all of us and as we look towards 2021 with hope and optimism, we wanted to take a moment to look back on the past year at Comestri.

Following the growing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic starting in March, the resilience of our team and platform has been demonstrated over the past 9 months with more SKUs, more pricing updates & more inventory orders than ever before!

June saw the official launch of the Comestri Partner Program. We launched the program with 9 of the world’s top eCommerce consultancies, integrators, agencies and technologies ready to bring the Comestri platform to merchants & retailers across ANZ & Europe.

In this same month, we successfully secured funding from Silicon Valley venture debt heavyweight, Partners for Growth, setting Comestri up for our next big growth phase despite some tough market conditions.

October saw us very proudly accept the BigCommerce Tech Partner of the Year (APAC) award virtually announced from the BigCommerce HQ in Austin, Texas. The honour really felt like a testament to the strength of the Comestri Platform in enhancing the already stellar offering that the team at BigCommerce provide to their customers globally.

November saw our first 3 projects initiated and implemented by partners. It has been inspiring to see both partners and the Comestri team working together with new brands, retailers and merchants across different product categories.

“As ecommerce settles into its groove in 2021, demand for improvements to ecommerce efficiencies and effectiveness will be higher than ever. We look forward to the opportunity to continue working with you in the new year on new digital transformation initiatives helping to shape the future of ecommerce.”
